I just wanted to say a big thankyou to all the members of Lambskinnet for a truly wonderful evening on Saturday.  It was so much fun and the atmosphere was also one of great fun! A great way to start my next decade.

We can say with certainty that the ceilidh made our wedding day!  The steps were so simple (easy to learn, hard to master) that within two minutes every single guest was on their feet and really enjoying themselves.  Before they left, every single one of them said how much fun they'd had, and how memorable the whole evening had been.  The band were superb, friendly, flexible and really made the whole thing go smoothly.  I'm not normally a dancer at weddings but a ceilidh is so much fun we couldn't help ourselves.  I can't recommend them highly enough - the day wouldn't have been the same without them!

Golden Wedding Anniversary May 2016

"Last year we went to a Ceilidh, Lambskinnet were playing.  They were so good and we enjoyed it so much we decided that we wanted to have a Ceilidh for our Golden Wedding Anniversary and it had to be Lambskinnet playing for us.  We had a fantastic time last Saturday; the caller was great, we didn't always get it right but it wasn't his fault, his instructions were very clear and we had a good laugh when we got it wrong. The music was so good everyone wanted to get up and dance, it was a great way for all ages to have a fun evening.  I think the children were the best dancers. People were asking the name of the band and everyone was saying how good they were.  I hope it won't be long before we go to another ceilidh with Lambskinnet. Wedding Anniversary May 2016

"Lambskinnet were the perfect choice for our Ruby Anniversary celebration with a 150 friends and family ranging in age from 4 to 94!  Everyone had a very happy time and many guests commented on how good the band was.  Particularly appreciated was the caller getting right into the middle of the dancing, not staying remote.  The range of music was just right and the whole event was as much fun for those sitting on the sidelines as for those taking to the floor!   Thank you". Newark Lodge Ladies Evening March 2016

Lambskinnet  played for our Newark Lodge Ladies Evening annual  dinner dance as a repeat performance from the success of last year.  Their music was infectious and had a large range of ages dancing with big smiles on their faces. Their caller was clear with instructions and he cleverly helped the guests who had never danced at a ceilidh before and they were first back on the floor for the following dances! The dance floor was always full of happy, laughing people - whilst those who sat out could not help but tap their feet to the beat.  Most enjoyable for all. On the practical side if you are the organiser of such an event Lambskinnet are most reliable. They arrive to set up as arranged and are there on time for the actual dance .  We would recommend them for any age group, party or dance.  Sara Gourley

Firstly thank you for your band's performance on Saturday, the whole event went down a storm and your entertainment was a key part of that so thank you! From the first instance your liaison to organise the event was extremely professional with swift responses when required, always willing to be flexibile around our plans and any constraints. The music was fantastic and your caller made the dancing fun and very easy to join in; hence the dance floor was full for the whole evening. We will certainly be using you for future events.
